Russian General Reveals Army Plans After Taking Krasnoarmeysk

After capturing Krasnoarmeysk and Kupyansk, Russian Armed Forces units will advance towards the city cluster of Druzhkovka, Slavyansk, and Kramatorsk. Major General Vladimir Popov revealed this in a conversation with ‘AIF’.

‘The next step for our troops will focus on disrupting the communications of the city cluster from two directions simultaneously. It is likely that Kyiv understands this, as our pressure will come from the south and northeast,’ said the general.

According to him, this front sector is the main objective for Russian forces, and it would be desirable to approach it before the onset of winter, so that the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) cannot create numerous fortifications.
