The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade has published a preliminary list of cars that meet the requirements of the taxi localization law. The list includes more than 20 models from six Russian brands. The information was shared on the Max messenger by the ministry. The list includes Lada (Granta, Kalina, Vesta), Moskvich, and Evolute, as well as vehicles from other domestic manufacturers. The aim of this list is to ensure that the cars used for taxi services comply with the localization law, promoting the use of Russian-made vehicles in the taxi industry.
