Sandra Regina Ruiz Gomes, known as Sandrão, broke her silence in an interview with Roberto Cabrini on Domingo Espetacular, aired on Sunday (11/16). The ex-convict from Tremembé gained attention after the premiere of the series Tremembé, where she talked about the romance she had with Suzane von Richthofen in prison.
“I was in love with Suzane for seven years. It was an intense relationship that started in 2009. I believe a mask doesn’t last 24 hours a day. So, I think at some point Suzane must have also fallen in love with me,” she revealed.
Sentenced to 27 years in prison, Sandrão has been on parole for ten years. In the Prime Video series, the former inmate is portrayed as the prison’s leader. Apart from Suzane, she also had relationships with Elize Matsunaga, imprisoned for her husband’s murder, Marcos Matsunaga.
Crime
Sandrão also spoke about the crime that led her to prison: involvement in the kidnapping of a neighbor, Talisson Vinicius da Silva Castro, who was 14 years old at the time and ended with his death.
“They say I shot the boy, ordered the killing, handed the gun to the minor. It’s a lie,” she told Cabrini.
The Tremembé Series
The Tremembé series premiered on Amazon Prime Video on October 31st. The show offers insights and stories from the Penitenciária Doutor José Augusto César Salgado, the famous ‘celebrity prison’.
In addition to Suzane, it also showcases the daily lives of other inmates convicted of nationally known crimes, such as the Cravinhos brothers, Elize Matsunaga, Alexandre Nardoni, Anna Carolina Jatobá, Roger Abdelmassih, and Sandra Regina Ruiz, known as Sandrão.
The cast includes Marina Ruy Barbosa, Felipe Simas, Kelner Macêdo, Carol Garcia, Lucas Oradovschi, Bianca Comparato, Anselmo Vasconcelos, and Letícia Rodrigues.
