Sanitation worker’s death: detective, wife of confessed killer, also indicted

Detective Ana Paula Lamego Balbino Nogueira, the wife of the man who confessed to killing sanitation worker Laudemir de Souza Fernandes in Belo Horizonte, has also been indicted for the crime. The public servant, who has been on leave from her duties since the week of the crime, may face charges of illegal gun possession. The results of the investigation were revealed this Friday (8/29), 18 days after the homicide, which took place on Modestina de Souza Street, in Vista Alegre neighborhood, in the West Region of Belo Horizonte.
