School Leave: Villupuram District Official Announces Holiday for Schools Only

In the coastal areas of southern Bay of Bengal and the adjoining Sri Lankan coastal areas, the ‘Titwaa’ storm is currently located in the southeast-northeast direction, 530 kilometers away from Chennai today (11/28/2025). Furthermore, in the northwest-northeast direction, on the 30th of this month, regions near the central and southeastern coast of Andhra Pradesh, neighboring northern Tamil Nadu and southern Andhra coastal areas may experience landfall according to meteorological department. Villupuram district has set up a national disaster response team comprising 857 volunteers and a Tamil Nadu disaster response team with 15 members for public safety enforcement.
