Business Desk: Domestic stock markets, Sensex and Nifty, started trading with sharp gains on Friday. Global markets saw a rise and foreign fund inflows boosted investor sentiment. BSE Sensex surged 284.49 points in early trade to reach a 52-week high of 85,470.96. NSE Nifty also climbed 83.35 points to touch a 52-week high of 26,136. Meanwhile, Sensex crossed the 85,432 mark with a rise of 246 points in the new 52-week high. Nifty was trading at 26,140 with an increase of 87 points. Among the top 30 companies in Sensex, Adani Ports, Reliance Industries, Tata Motors, Axis Bank, Mahindra & Mahindra, and Power Grid were gaining.
