In the city of Sincik, located above the Balikesir province in Turkey, a strong earthquake struck last night. It was recorded at 6.1 on the Richter scale. The cities of Istanbul, Bursa, Manisa, and Izmir also felt the impact of the earthquake. As a result, many buildings in Sincik were heavily shaken. However, further details about casualties and damages are yet to be released. A severe earthquake also hit Sincik in August, resulting in one fatality. Over 20 people were injured. Following this, small aftershocks continued in the areas surrounding Balikesir, where Sincik is situated.
