In the past 6 years, Iran has been facing increasingly severe drought conditions. Water levels in reservoirs there have dropped below 10 percent capacity. Additionally, the current situation in Iran, with temperatures soaring, has led to a severe water shortage not seen in the past decade. In response to this, people in Iran’s capital, Tehran, took part in a special prayer for rain at the famous Saleh Mosque. Thousands of individuals, including women and children, gathered for the prayer, hoping for much-needed rain.
