A festive mood prevailed as the Shanghai Municipal Government held a National Day reception at the Shanghai Exhibition Center to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China on the evening of September 30th. Shanghai Party Secretary Chen Jinin, Shanghai Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor Gong Zheng, and foreign guests gathered to celebrate the anniversary of the People’s Republic of China. The central hall of the Shanghai Exhibition Center was filled with harmony and joy this evening. The words ‘National Day’ and ‘1949-2025’ in gold and red shone brightly on the wall, complemented by the vibrant five-star red flag.
