The 30-year-old’s condition has stabilized, and he has been discharged from the ICU. The BCCI-appointed team doctor has been monitoring his condition closely for the past three days. The incident occurred during the third and final ODI match at the Sydney Cricket Ground on October 25, where Iyer dived to take a catch in the covers and injured himself. He was immediately taken to the hospital for evaluation.
