Southeast Asian travelers are opting out of visits to the United States for various reasons this year. Singaporeans, in particular, are exhibiting higher levels of reluctance towards traveling to the U.S. compared to their regional counterparts, according to a survey of 6,000 travelers commissioned by CNBC Travel. The survey findings indicated significant differences in perceptions between Singaporean travelers and those from Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, and Malaysia.
