The wedding preparations were complete, with the mandap decorated in Sangli. However, on Sunday morning, Smriti’s father, Shrinivas Mandhana, suddenly fell ill and had to be rushed to the hospital. Currently, his condition is reported to be stable. The decision to postpone the wedding was made by Smriti or Palash is still unclear. Due to the sudden health scare, we couldn’t proceed with the wedding, although it was scheduled for that day. Palash regretted not being able to meet Smriti’s parents and expressed great respect for Shrinivas.’ This news came as a big shock to him.
