South Korean Companies’ Factories in the US Raided by US Enforcement Agencies, Does the Lee Myung-bak Administration’s ‘Honeymoon Period’ with Trump End?

During South Korean President Lee Myung-bak’s first 100 days in office, the US government delivered a ‘warning shot.’ According to CCTV News, on September 5th, the US Department of Homeland Security announced at a press conference that it, along with various federal agencies including the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, conducted a large-scale enforcement operation at a Hyundai factory in Georgia on the 4th. They arrested a total of 475 suspected undocumented immigrants working there, marking the largest single-site enforcement operation in the history of the US Department of Homeland Security.
