Spain: Strong waves in Canary Islands kill 3

Madrid, Spain, is a country located in Europe. The picturesque Tenerife Island is famous for its beautiful beaches. Tourists flock to the island’s shores daily to enjoy the ocean. However, last Sunday, tragedy struck when several individuals were swept away by rough seas in the Puertito de la Cruz area of the island. The powerful waves overwhelmed them, leading to some being stranded in the ocean and others clinging to rocks. As a result of the incident, 3 individuals who were swept out to the sea have been reported missing and presumed dead. Additionally, 15 people who were stranded on rocks due to turbulent waves have been rescued and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Following this event, access to the beach has been restricted in order to prevent further incidents.
