Special Investigation Team Collects Samples from Sabarimala Sannidhanam for Gold Plating Verification

A special investigation team has arrived at Sabarimala to collect samples from the Dwarapalaka sculptures and door frame as part of the ongoing investigation into the gold plating case. The time when the high artisans are working is when samples will be taken from the door frame, known as the “Kattilappali”. The team aims to verify whether the gold plating conducted by Vijay Mallya in 1998 is still present. The investigation was authorized to proceed with the permission of the High Court.
