The 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji started at Sri Anandpur Sahib. In the morning, the recitation of Sri Akhand Path Sahib began. Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Katariya, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) speaker were present.
The Sangat at Sri Nagar included CM Bhagwant Mann and Arvind Kejriwal during the Kirtan Darbar. The Speaker invited Kejriwal to attend the special session at Sri Anandpur Sahib. A guided tour will be conducted in Sri Anandpur Sahib on November 23rd by Harjot Singh Bains.
The ‘Nagar Keertan Day’ commenced in Sri Nagar with devotional songs in Sri Anandpur Sahib. The Martyrdom Anniversary of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji is expected to draw a crowd of one crore Sangat at Sri Anandpur Sahib. The roads will be closed until November 29th in Sri Anandpur Sahib. Alternate routes and route planning will be provided.
CM Mann expressed grief over the Delhi explosions and demanded a thorough investigation in Delhi. Tent cities are being set up for the convenience of the Sangat at Sri Anandpur Sahib for the Martyrdom Anniversary celebrations.
