In response to the severe cyclone that hit Tamil Nadu, Sri Lanka received 950 tons of relief materials, including sugar, rice, milk powder, cattle feed, vetiver, blankets, clothes, toiletries, and sanitary napkins. Chief Minister Stalin sent this aid to help the people affected by the disaster. The relief materials, totaling 650 tons, were dispatched from Chennai’s Department of Commerce, while Tuticorin’s department sent 300 tons to support Sri Lanka. Ganeshanathan Geetheswaran, the Deputy High Commissioner of Sri Lanka, received the aid package from the Chief Minister.
