State Faces Chilling Weather!

Since Tuesday, a chilling cold has started to spread across the state, with a severe cold expected to persist for the next eight weeks. Experts have indicated that the atmosphere will remain cold until December 19. On Tuesday, Alibaug recorded 7.4 degrees, while Pune dropped to 8.4 degrees Celsius. The unusual occurrence of two cyclonic circulations in the Bay of Bengal in November did not signify a chilling weather, but December entered with a drop in temperatures. However, the cold was felt from 7 pm to 6 am the following morning. The intensity of the cold was felt throughout the day. However, from Tuesday onwards, the cold has been observed during the day as well. Most parts of the state have started experiencing temperatures dropping to 3 to 4 degrees below average.
