Strengthening Malaysia-Ethiopia Relations

With vast opportunities for the blossoming of relations between Malaysia and Ethiopia, cooperation between the two countries must not only be meaningful but also courageous, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of having honest and strong friends in a world full of uncertainties, emphasizing the historical, spiritual, and extraordinary future prospects between Malaysia and Ethiopia. Anwar stated that economic cooperation goes beyond figures and contracts, aiming for mutual benefits and inclusivity. Malaysia’s presence in Africa seeks to establish fair, inclusive, and sustainable bridges for green investment, digital technology, modern farming, and dynamic Asean access. The Prime Minister stressed the significance of democratic resilience for vibrant economic growth, drawing examples from Asean’s stability and inclusivity that fostered sector developments, including energy transitions.
