Switzerland offers pluralism lessons in response to concerns for Indian minorities

While describing Switzerland as “a close friend and partner,” Kshitij Tyagi, counselor at the Permanent Mission of India in Geneva, addressed the issue during a debate at the 60th Session of the Human Rights Council of the United Nations. Tyagi highlighted India’s willingness to assist Switzerland, stating that as the world’s largest, most diverse, and vibrant democracy, India is ready to provide support for promoting pluralism. The offer comes in light of concerns for Indian minorities in Switzerland.
