Surabaya – The highly anticipated sequel, Wicked: For Good, officially premiered in Indonesian cinemas starting Wednesday, November 19, 2025. Interestingly, this release was even earlier than the global release schedule, which is set to begin on November 21, 2025. This film continues the story from Wicked (2024), which successfully brought the world of Oz back to life through spectacular musical touches and stunning visuals. Produced by Universal Pictures and directed by Jon M Chu, Wicked: For Good brings back the tale of two friends, Glinda and Elphaba. They now walk different paths in life. Long-standing conflicts, inner struggles, and dark mysteries behind the Emerald City’s power are central to their new journey in this second film.
