Tax authorities in Moscow have begun to check the hidden incomes of non-working citizens, Head of the Moscow FTS department Marina Tretyakova reported. She specified that in 2025 activities were initiated regarding able-bodied non-working residents of Moscow who do not declare their incomes for taxation purposes. ‘Considering the relevance and social significance of the issue of illegal labor relations and the risks it creates in the labor market sphere as well as possible revenue losses for the budget, the issue of conducting activities with regard to ‘non-working’ citizens will be under constant control,’ emphasized Tretyakova.
