The HAL Tejas Mark-1, a light combat aircraft displayed by the Indian Defence Ministry at the Dubai Air Show, crashed during a demo flight. The incident occurred on Friday morning during the demo flight preparations. The aircraft went down at around 2:10 pm local time near the Dubai Al Maktoum International Airport. While the pilot reportedly ejected safely, the exact cause of the crash remains unclear. The aircraft experienced technical issues moments before the crash, losing control and crashing with a fire hazard. However, the pilot’s safety upon ejection remains the primary concern.
