Tesla, the company actively developing the Robotaxi service, recently announced the introduction of a new fee for additional cleaning services for vehicles after each trip is completed. This measure stems from the significant increase in the number of service users and the rapid growth in the overall volume of rides, which necessitated thorough vehicle preparation before subsequent bookings. The size of the additional fee varies depending on the degree of dirtiness of the vehicle’s interior caused by passengers. For example, if you spill a soft drink, the cleaning is likely to be cheaper than if the back seat of the car is accidentally stained with food. Thus, the tariff is individually set based on the nature of the damage to the vehicle’s interior.
