The Iconic Jeep Legend Reinvented: Now Even a Chassis Can Become a Restomod

Vigilante 4×4, a workshop based in Texas known for powerful restomods of Jeep Grand Wagoneer and Cherokee, has introduced its first fully electric project. Instead of a typical conversion, engineers have created a new chassis from scratch, retaining the iconic SJ silhouette but completely overhauling the internals. The company gained fame for its powerful HEMI versions, but now Vigilante is taking a step into the future with an electric architecture devoid of a traditional transmission system. The vehicle features dual electric motors – one at the front and one at the rear – providing continuous all-wheel drive and instant torque, while preserving the off-road spirit of the original Wagoneer.
