China dismissed President Donald Trump’s accusation on Thursday that Chinese, Russian, and North Korean leaders conspired together at the Victory Day parade against the United States. Earlier, Russia also responded to Trump’s allegations. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said that China has always advocated peaceful development, cooperation, and communication to solve problems. During the Victory Day parade in China, President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un stood united to commemorate the victory of World War II. China emphasized that the military parade was aimed at promoting peace and cooperation, not directed against any specific country. The parade sought to demonstrate unity against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic.
