Three Diaspora Players on Trial in Indonesia U-22 National Team for SEA Games 2025 Preparation

Coach Indra Sjafri of the Indonesia U-22 National Team has summoned a total of 33 players in preparation for the SEA Games 2025, with three of them being diaspora players on trial. The team held training at the Madya Stadium in Jakarta on Tuesday (11/11/2025), with 30 regular players and three diaspora players in trial, namely Reycredo Beremanda, Muhammad Mishbah, and Luke Xavier Keet. ‘Starting this week, we will begin narrowing down the players from the initial 30. Tomorrow, we will have an internal game to assess the players’ progress,’ said Indra Sjafri in a statement on the PSSI website on Wednesday (12/11).

Before the SEA Games 2025, the Garuda Muda team will play two international friendly matches against Mali on the 15th and 18th of November. Both matches will take place at the Pakansari Stadium in Bogor. ‘Thanks to the full support of PSSI, the second phase of training camp is off to a good and smooth start. I want to express my gratitude to the clubs that released players for this training camp. All players are in good condition, with no issues, and ready for the two friendly matches against Mali,’ he explained.

Indra did not set high targets for the two friendly matches against Mali. However, these matches will be used to determine the final squad for the SEA Games 2025. ‘Our first target is to validate which players are truly suitable to be part of the team for the SEA Games 2025. We will then select the best 23 players by the 26th or 27th of November,’ he added.

The list of 33 players at the Indonesia U-22 National Team training camp includes goalkeepers like Cahya Supriadi, defenders such as Dion Wilhelmus Eddy Markx, midfielders like Rivaldo Enero Pakpahan, and forwards like Hokky Caraka Bintang Brilliant. Additionally, three diaspora players have joined the camp on trial – Luke Xavier Keet, Muhammad Mishbah, and Rey Credo Beremanda.
