Tin downstream in Indonesia is said to have entered a crucial phase for national industrialization. Indonesia actually has the technical capability and industrial capacity to produce high value-added products. Tin downstream should not be treated as a sectoral program, but as a national industrial priority. Energy analyst Ali Ahmudi stressed that PT Timah Tbk, as part of MIND ID, has taken real downstream steps in the production process of tin solder, tin chemical, and tin powder. However, the development of the national downstream industry is still slow and requires significant policies to be accelerated.
