Top 10 Countries with the Most Educated People in the World, Indonesia Not Included

A report from the OECD titled Education at a Glance 2025 reveals that Canada has the highest educated population in the world, with over 64 percent of its residents holding a bachelor’s or university degree. The OECD report includes data on working-age adults in 45 countries by 2024. Among these countries, the majority of the most educated populations are in Europe. Ireland ranks second after Canada, with nearly 58 percent of its residents achieving a bachelor’s degree or higher. Following Canada and Ireland, Luxembourg ranks third with 54.4 percent of its population holding a bachelor’s or university degree.
