Toyota unveiled the ninth generation of its Hilux pickup truck in Thailand, featuring a fully electric powertrain with two electric motors. While full specifications have not been disclosed yet, Toyota has shared the first official images of the exterior and interior of the electric Hilux. The launch of this new model in Asian markets is scheduled for 2026. The new Hilux features a double cab and dimensions of 5320 mm in length, 1855 mm in width, and 1800 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3085 mm. The electric motors of the Toyota Hilux deliver 196 hp and are powered by a 59.2 kWh lithium-ion battery, providing a range of 300 km. The battery is located under the vehicle’s floor. In 2026, a diesel engine option will be added to the lineup, along with different drive variants.
