Toyota Launches Yaris Cross: Check Prices and Equipment of the New Compact SUV

One of the most important manufacturers in the country that did not have a representative in this segment was Toyota. The Yaris Cross model will cater to customers who are not yet able (or do not want) to buy the Corolla or Corolla Cross. Pre-sales start this November, with 8,500 units to be delivered between February and March next year. The launch was delayed due to the storm that destroyed Toyota’s engine plant in Porto Feliz, São Paulo. In 2026, Toyota will produce 52,000 units of the Yaris Cross in Sorocaba, São Paulo, for the Brazilian market – the rest will be for export. Will they be able to sell it all?
