According to the ‘Auto Review’ portal, integration of a Russian-language interface into the multimedia systems of Toyota’s Chinese factories has begun, signaling preparation for car shipments to Russia. Sources from the publication revealed that a Russian IT specialist was engaged to work on interface adaptation, aiding in the development and implementation of the Russian language into the factory software. Previously, this kind of localization was not applied to Chinese Toyota models. The first batch of cars with pre-installed Russian language, preliminarily scheduled to come off the assembly line in November.
