Triple Green CineCapital Launches Film Investment Venture in Southeast Asia

Triple Green CineCapital, a newly established film investment venture with a focus on Southeast Asian markets, debuted at the JAFF Market in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Headed by producer Leonard Lai, based in Singapore, and Hang Trinh from Vietnam, the company aims to secure $3 million in capital by 2029. Their goal is to finance and produce commercial films tailored to the region’s expanding cinema audience. Leonard Lai’s track record includes producing 21 features, such as Singapore’s popular ‘Ah Boys to Men’ series, with a combined earning exceeding $40 million. Five of his productions rank among Singapore’s top 10 box office hits, with some receiving Golden Horse Award recognition.
