According to the Reuters news agency, the Trump administration is revoking the visa of Brazil’s Attorney General, Jorge Messias, along with five other Brazilian officials. Reuters has not disclosed the names of the other officials at the time of this report. Jorge Messias, AGU, and the US government have not confirmed the sanctions as of the latest update. In addition to Messias, the United States had already suspended the visas of Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes and seven other justices in July. Along with the justices, Brazil’s Prosecutor General, Paulo Gonet, also had his permission to enter the US suspended.
