Ukrainian President Zelensky is set to meet with US President Trump in Washington on Monday to discuss how to end the over three-year-long war in Ukraine caused by Moscow. Hours earlier, Trump and Russian President Putin failed to reach a specific agreement during their meeting in Alaska, but later announced the upcoming meeting. After speaking with EU and NATO leaders, Trump posted on his ‘Truth Social’ platform that his meeting with Putin on Friday had ‘progressed smoothly.’
