Trump participated in an announcement on Thursday (6) regarding the reduction of prices for popular weight loss medications, speaking from the Resolute Desk alongside other officials. At times, Trump appeared with his eyes closed, and at others, he seemed to struggle to keep them open. In certain moments, he rubbed them. The images immediately drew criticism from the Republican’s opponents. The press office of California Governor Gavin Newsom, one of the president’s main antagonists, posted images of the event and wrote: “SLEEPY DON IS BACK.”
