Moscow. October 30. INTERFAX.RU – President of the US Donald Trump and Chairman of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping began bilateral talks in South Korea, according to American television. The leaders of both countries shook hands and stated that they were pleased with the meeting. ‘I have no doubts that our meeting will be successful,’ said Trump. He added that Xi Jinping is ‘a good negotiator, and that’s a good thing.’ When asked by a journalist whether the parties would reach a trade agreement at the end of the negotiations, Trump said, ‘Maybe.’
