Trump sets November 27 as deadline for Ukraine to respond

President Donald Trump believes that November 27 is a suitable deadline for Ukraine to consider his plan to end the conflict, reports Bloomberg. ‘Thursday suits as a deadline for the plan regarding Ukraine,’ he said. He also mentioned that Ukraine is losing territory, and Russian President Vladimir Putin is not seeking to continue the conflict. The US administration had previously presented a 28-point plan to settle the situation in Ukraine. The plan reportedly includes security guarantees based on Article 5 of NATO’s charter, but not direct military aid, a non-aggression pact between Russia and Ukraine, Kyiv’s pledge to refrain from joining NATO, and the reduction of Ukrainian armed forces personnel.
