Turkey’s Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan, announced that a meeting of foreign ministers from Muslim countries will be held on Monday in Istanbul to discuss the US peace plan for Gaza. Fidan stated that the meeting will ‘evaluate our progress and discuss what we can achieve together in the next stage.’ Foreign ministers from Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates have all been invited to attend the meeting. These countries’ foreign ministers had previously met President Donald Trump on September 23 during the UN General Assembly in New York.
