UAE Strongly Condemns Israel’s Attacks on Damascus Suburbs

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) strongly criticized Israel’s recent airstrikes on the suburbs of Damascus and called for the international community to act against repeated attacks on Syrian soil, as stated by the UAE Foreign Ministry. Syria TV reported that Israeli fighter jets initiated bombings on the village of Beit Jinn, causing civilian casualties, just 50 kilometers from Damascus. The attacks were apparently in response to an incident where a group of Israeli soldiers faced resistance during a raid in the local Syrian community. ‘The UAE strongly condemns the dangerous escalation by Israel in Syrian territory, targeting villages in Rif Dimashq Governorate, and firmly opposes any violation of Syria’s sovereignty,’ stated the ministry on Saturday.
