UAE Suspends Visa Issuance to Pakistani Nationals Due to Criminal Activity Concerns

Islamabad, Nov 27 – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has suspended the issuance of visas to Pakistani citizens, as reported by an Interior Ministry official in Islamabad to local media on Thursday. Salman Chaudhry, Additional Interior Secretary, revealed this information during a meeting of the Senate Functional Committee on Human Rights. The official mentioned that currently, the UAE is only granting visas to individuals holding blue and diplomatic passports. Senator Samina Mumtaz Zehri confirmed the official’s statement, expressing that the decision was made due to concerns about Pakistani travelers engaging in criminal activities upon reaching the UAE.
