New Delhi-based UFlex Ltd, a flexible packaging and solutions maker, is set to invest over ₹700 crore to enhance its packaging film manufacturing line in Dharwad, Karnataka. The expansion will add 54,000 MTPA of new capacity, increasing the company’s global packaging film capacity to 690,160 MTPA from 636,160 MTPA. UFlex aims at strengthening its portfolio and serving customers with scalable, high-quality packaging solutions for long-term profitable growth by fiscal year 2027. The company’s Group president and CFO, Rajesh Bhatia, stated that strategic projects like the 12-billion-pack aseptic plant in Egypt and an 80-million WPP bags line in Mexico are already in progress, among others.
