United Nations officials and aid agencies have warned that with Israel’s continued blockade and bombardment impeding critical life-saving supplies, the Gaza famine has become a reality, with more and more children dying of starvation. In a strongly worded speech at the United Nations Security Council on Wednesday, officials said the famine and widespread hunger in this enclave are a ‘carefully planned’ ‘man-made disaster’.
