A teacher, Patrick Jan Starkey, aged 42 and hailing from the Central Coast, has been accused of horrific crimes against a teenage girl. It is reported that Starkey allegedly groomed and sexually assaulted the girl on several occasions during August and September of 2025. The authorities were alerted to the situation, leading to the arrest of the accused individual as he purportedly made an attempt to flee the country, headed for South Africa.
