US to Double Reward for Arrest of Venezuelan President Maduro to $50 Million

The US has announced a doubling of the reward amount, offering up to $50 million to individuals providing information leading to the arrest of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, previously set at $25 million by the Trump administration in January this year. The US accuses Maduro of being one of the world’s top drug traffickers, alleging that he collaborates with drug cartels to import large quantities of cocaine laced with fentanyl into the US.
