Valery Karpin, the head coach of the Russian national football team, has assessed the current squad for the November training camp. His words were reported by RIA Novosti. Responding to a journalist’s question about whether the current squad is the strongest since being sidelined from official matches in 2022, the coach characterized it positively overall. ‘I don’t know if it’s the strongest or not, but it’s a good squad,’ Karpin noted. Earlier, the coaching staff of the Russian national football team, led by Karpin, announced the final roster for the November matches against Chile and Peru. The final list includes 30 players, such as Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Matvei Safonov, Atlanta United midfielder Alexey Miranchuk, Monaco midfielder Alexander Golovin, and Dynamo Moscow forward Konstantin Tyukavin.
