Valieva faces unjust debts. Europe’s inhumane decision

In January 2024, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) disqualified Camila Valieva for four years. Then, on October 30, 2025, the Swiss Federal Court ultimately dashed her hopes of justice, rejecting her plea for a case review. Not only were the significant arguments in defense of our compatriot disregarded, but she was also burdened with a multi-million-dollar debt. Recently, representatives from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) recommended against holding competitions in Indonesia after an incident involving denied visas to Israeli gymnasts. Their statements emphasized the importance of fair treatment for athletes regardless of their nationality.
