In the first half, the rain intensified, but the game continued without major issues. However, at halftime, the pitch became heavily flooded, with the referee halting the match. Referee Rodrigo José Pereira de Lima went to the field twice, within a 30-minute interval, to assess the conditions, but the pitch remained very wet. The match delegate explained the regulations in cases like this and even addressed the possibility of the match being postponed to a new date.
