Vitinho, from Botafogo, to be a substitute in the Brazilian National Team game against Chile; check the probable lineup

Vitinho, the right-back from Botafogo, is not among the probable starters chosen by coach Carlo Ancelotti for the Brazilian National Team game against Chile, on Thursday (4/9), at Maracanã, for the South American Qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup. According to ESPN, the Italian coach has set up a team with Wesley, formerly from Flamengo and currently at Roma, as the starting player in that position. Luiz Henrique, a former Botafogo forward now playing for Zenit, is also expected to be on the bench. The probable lineup for Brazil consists of Alisson; Wesley, Marquinhos, Gabriel Magalhães, and Douglas Santos; Casemiro and Bruno Guimarães; Estevão, João Pedro, Raphinha, and Martinelli. After the Chile match, Brazil will close the qualifiers facing Bolivia, on Tuesday (9/9), in El Alto, at 4,150 meters above sea level.
