Walmart has pulled frozen raw shrimp from its stores in 13 states in the United States after federal health authorities reported possible radioactive contamination. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) asked the retail giant to remove three batches of seafood from the Great Value brand in response to the presence of Cesium-137 in containers and a sample of shrimp imported from Indonesia. The move was a precautionary measure to ensure consumer safety. Walmart took immediate action upon receiving the notification from the FDA.
